• HDMI INTRO

    1. In April, 2002, Hitachi, Matsushita Electric(Panasonic) , Royal Philips Electronics, Silicon Image, Sony Corporation, Thomson and Toshiba corporation established a new standard which is called HDMI( High-Definition Multimedia Interface)¡¡for HDTV and the consuming electronic market.

    2. It is the first and only digital interface recognized by Hollywood filmdom, consuming electronic market and regional criterion organization. It can transmit uncompressed high-definition video and undamnified multi-channel audio in a single digital interface. At the present time, this interface has been widely used in digital TV, DVD, set-top box, personal computer and other consuming electrons.

    3. HDMI is the most popular digital interface and also a full function digital interface that contains both uncompressed audio and video. It is very convenient. We just need one HDMI cable to transmit the audio and video, instead of using lots of other cables in the old days.

    4. In HDMI Shenzhen ATC, We started the 1.2a version of the test in June, 2006, and now we have began to test the 1.3b version. The 1.3b version has many advantages compared with the former versions. you are welcome to download the CTS on the website www.hdmi.org if you are the HDMI adopter .

    The HDMI Shenzhen ATC is the fourth to be a authorized test center in the world, affiliated to Silicon Image. We have started the 1.3b version now and will stop the 1.2a version test at the beginning of September this year.
